フランス・カンヌ生まれの彼は、4歳でアコーディオン演奏を開始。'85年に初ソロ・アルバムを発表し、'92年には名誉あるジャンゴ・ラインハルト賞を受賞した。味わい深い音色と完璧なテクニックでロン・カーター、ゲイリー・バートン、チャーリー・ヘイデンなど数多くの共演ミュージシャンを魅了、アストル・ピアソラから“ニュー・ミュゼットの旗手”と賞賛された・・・自他ともに認めるアストル・ピアソラの後継者でもあり、ジャズやクラシック系ミュージシャンとの交流も多い。

Born in Cannes, France, he started playing the accordion at the age of four. He released his first solo album in 1985 and won the prestigious Django Reinhardt Award in 1992. Fascinated by many co-starring musicians such as Ron Carter, Gary Burton, and Charlie Haden with his tasteful tone and perfect technique, he was praised by Astor Piazzolla as "the flagship of the New Musette" ...
